EDUCATION AT CARTER HEALTHCARE

The Education Department comprises of Clinicians and Therapists that are knowledgeable in both Home Health and Hospice Care. The Education Department conducts New Hire Orientation for all new clinical and therapy staff. Orientation includes a variety of learning formats ranging from webinars, e-learning, classroom lectures, hands on skills labs and computer training. The hands on learning environment helps with the transition of the new clinician from class room to home visits. The Education Department performs annual skill review with all clinical staff and develops ongoing education and training to ensure our clinical staff is providing the safest, most comprehensive care to all of our patients. Our success is shown through the care our field staff provides to our patients and their families.
